Seiko Prospex LX

The LX collection is named after Latin ‘Lux’ for light because of the acute angles within the design, refracting light and giving a real brilliance to each surface. The Japanese designer, Ken Okuyama, developed the LX collection with Seiko Watch Corporation – taking the signature Seiko diver’s watch design and increasing the watch surface angles to give greater light reflection. This model incorporates the Spring Drive movement, a watch movement pioneered by Seiko Watch Corporation’s engineers. Spring Drive generates energy like a conventional mechanical watch – with a mainspring – but combines this with an electronic regulator to deliver a superior level of precision, never requiring a battery change.
